A new hire’s first day can set the tone for their employment and experience at a new organization. For example, the new hire’s first impressions of the organization will be significantly better if they arrive and are immediately provided with an access badge, business cards, a desk with supplies/computer/phone, etc. When a new hire joins an organization that has not prepared for their arrival, it often results in wasted time and poor first impressions.
The tasks feature will allow you to build in automatic requests to colleagues to complete these preparatory tasks. You will not need to send separate emails or place calls to request that colleagues complete these tasks.
