Pennsylvania
Form CLGS-32-6 work address corrected
Form Name: Local Earned Income Tax Residency Certification Form
SPF Form ID: PA114
Pennsylvania Form CLGS-32-6 will now correctly use the employee’s work address, not the employer’s address (in cases where they differ).
Pennsylvania interstate employee functionality corrected
Interstate employee functionality has been corrected; when the “interstate” property is true, SPF will remove all forms that are not Federal or PA forms. This is set with the following XML inside the <employee> element in the Registration Context XML:
<properties><property id="interstate">true</property></properties>
Note that this only takes effect when the employee is a Pennsylvania resident.
Miscellaneous Updates
Allow hyphens and apostrophes in “text” fields
Text fields and tax parameters of type “text” now allow hyphens (-) and apostrophes (‘).
Update guided mode nexus logic for resident states
Nexus now automatically exists for the resident state, when the resident state is included in the set of work states. Intended nexus behavior is as follows:
If <includeAllStates> is set to true, then all states will always be included.
If <includeAllStates> is set to false, then:
- Add all states in the list.
- Then, remove all states in the list.
- Finally, automatically include the resident state if it is in the set of work states.
