Overview
Click Boarding's Production environment will be down for scheduled maintenance and the promotion of new code on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, starting at 12:00 a.m. CDT.
** Please note, we initially published the release notes noting that there would be changes to the Candidate Term & Conditions and Privacy Policy Accept/Decline Page, E-Signature Agreement Language, and our Terms & Conditions. These will go in our next production release on 4/23/2024.**
Release Schedule Update for April
To better support our clients while the Click Boarding team attends an offsite meeting in mid-April, we will be adjusting our release schedule. In the month of April, Click Boarding will be following the below release schedule:
- April 2 – Production release (Unchanged)
-
April 9 – UAT release (Unchanged)
- Please note that the refreshed Candidate UI will be enabled for testing in Production and UAT on this date, but this does not correlate to a Production release. It can be thought of as flipping the on switch.
- April 23 – Production release (moved from April 16 to account for Click Boarding offsite meeting)
-
April 24 – UAT release (moved from April 22 to allow for production release)
- Note that we have chosen this date so that we are back on track with production releases ASAP.
- April 30 – Production release (Unchanged)
Candidate UI Launch Date
We're thrilled to announce that the Candidate UI will be available for you to test in UAT and Production next week, scheduled for April 9! As we eagerly anticipate this milestone, we're putting the finishing touches on the new UI. Your continued support and feedback have been invaluable in shaping this, and we can't wait to share it with you. Please note that the release to Production will not impact candidates and will only be for test records.
Candidate Active Updates
The following endpoints will now return a node denoting if a candidate is active:
Candidates-GET
Candidates/{id}-GET
Candidates/Users-GET
Candidates/Users/{userApiIdentifier-GET}
The following will now allow you pass if a candidate is active in the request:
Candidates/{id}-PATCH
Candidates/Users/{userApiIdentifier}-PATCH
Candidates-POST
The type is Boolean where true
means that the user is active and false
means that the user is inactive.
When a candidate is inactive, they will be unable to access the candidate portal (this includes via impersonation). If a candidate is made inactive and needs to be reactivated, the value can be updated by passing true
via the Candidates/{id}-PATCH
. This will not impact any existing integrations that a client has set up. At this time activating and deactivating a candidate will only be available via API.
Task Only Users Access Denied Update
An issue was identified where Task Only users were able to log into the Admin portal, but received an Access Denied message. Task Only users now see the Action Center page as expected.
Tax Wizard Language Mismatch Update
An issue was identified where candidates could not move forward in the Tax Wizard when the candidate's Tax Wizard language did not match the language of the form they were attempting to complete. For example, if the user's Tax Wizard language was English and they attempted to fill out the W-4(SP) (Spanish version of the W-4), they would be unable to progress. This issue is resolved. Users receive a modal asking which language they would like to continue in.
Form I-9 Section 1 Candidate Download Update
In the Candidate portal, when a candidate downloaded the Form I-9 Section 1 it would download without an extension. The form could still be opened. This did not impact Admin. Now when candidates download the Form I-9 Section 1, it downloads with a .pdf
extension.
Enhanced Employee Location Visibility in Click Retain
We're thrilled to announce an enhancement to Click Retain: the addition of Location as a sortable and filterable data point! We've listened to your feedback and understand the importance of quickly accessing employee location information, so we've made it easier than ever.
Here's what you need to know about this exciting update:
- Improved Visibility: You can now easily see an employee's location directly within Click Retain. The Location column is now available on both the People Page and the Export Page, providing quick access to essential information.
- Data Insights: The Location data point is based on the location selected from the last process flow assigned within Click Boarding, giving you accurate and up-to-date information about employee locations.
- Enhanced Profile View: Additionally, you'll find a new data field on the Person Profile Page, displaying each employee's assigned location for comprehensive visibility.
- Seamless Integration: Location information will automatically populate in Click Retain once a new process flow is assigned after this release. For existing employees, Location will appear as soon as a new process flow is assigned to them.
