We are excited to announce the deployment of a new patch update for the new Candidate User Interface. This release has important updates based on user reports and internal findings.
Updates
On June 5, 2024 there will be a no downtime release to Production to address the below issues:
- When a field that is part of a collection was configured as a dropdown and had the Value and Display Label set, the user was being presented the Value instead of the Display Label. This has been resolved so that when a Display Label is set, the user is presented the Display Label.
Removed from Release
The below were initially planned to be in this release, but removed for additional validation.
- When a user entered a value for a non-required date field, advanced to the review page, went back to the data collection page, edited the form to remove the values, and advanced to the review page, there was an error stating the date format is invalid. This has been updated to no longer recognize the empty value as invalid.
- If a user attempted to update their address from an address outside of the United States (US), Canada (CA), or Australia (AU) to one within one of these countries, they were experiencing an error. This only happened if the candidate did not remove the value in State / Region / Province before switching the country. Users can now switch between countries without issue. This would occur in the following scenarios:
-
- The user was initially created with an address outside of one of the three mentioned countries.
- The user entered the address on a form, advanced to the review page, went back to the data collection page, changed the country to US, CA, or AU, and attempt to submit the form.
