A data field is a field or group of fields that store information for an employee. These fields can then be utilized to gather data via an integration (such as from an ATS) or by having the employee enter data on a form as part of a process flow. Custom data fields allow you to configure Click Boarding to meet your specific data needs.
Within the Click Boarding platform, users can create five types of data fields.
- Text
- Date
- Phone Number
- Data Field Group (A group of fields. This type allows you to collect a single entry of each field)
- Collection (A group of fields. This type allows you to collect multiple entries of the same field)
Note that where and how data fields are created has a large impact on integrations since this will directly impact the JSON structure of employee data.
