Overview
As we make updates to our refreshed Admin user interface (UI) we want to ensure that you are being kept up to date with the changes we are making and what we are planning on working on next. This is our final UAT release before the refreshed Admin in the default experience in Production. As such, this will be our last set of release notes specific to the refreshed Admin.
Releases to the UAT environment happen every other Monday starting at 8:00 p.m. CT. While we will try to maintain this schedule, we may occasionally do an off-cycle release to the refreshed Admin. Unless fixing an urgent bug that requires an immediate fix, we will refrain from doing off-cycle releases to the current Admin.
March 24 UAT release changes
Thank you to everyone that has previewed the refreshed Admin portal and provided feedback. Please continue to do so! Below are the changes you will see in the refreshed Admin portal after our March 24 UAT release. These will be in Production on April 1
- Update SSN masking to not be "999-99-9999" which can cause confusion over what data is entered
- Add ability to cancel process flow from employee profile page
- Resolve issue where error message persists on process flow modal after resolution
- Improve autofocus experience when a user has an error
- Disable the export button until data loads to avoid accidental errors
- Resolve issue with suffix erroring when set to selection from list
- Update Locations list filtering
- Resolve issue where the Team Member list was maxing out at 200 records
- Resolve issue with italic text and hyperlinks not working as expected in form builder
- Resolve issue with legacy Vimeo links not loading in the form preview or completion
- Wrap text on long dropdown items in the form preview and form completion
- Update the file name for downloaded employee forms to EmployeeId_Name_FormName.extension
- Improved error handling when user attempts to add an activity that does not exist to a process flow (e.g. attempting to add a task when no tasks have been created)
- Miscellaneous UI tweaks for consistency such as adjust spacing between buttons, updating placeholder text, etc
Upcoming in the next development cycle
Below are items that we are working on in our next development cycle, which runs March 24 through April 6. Unless noted, these will be available in your UAT environment on April 7 and Production on April 15. Please note that as our development cycle progresses this section may update. Items that are removed will be red, while items that are added will be in green.
- Make refreshed admin the default production experience on April 1
- Update team member list and add team member export - will span multiple development cycles
- Update form modes to align closer to the current UI experience. Major change is removing the immediate edit ability for published form. Published forms are view only unless the user selects edit.
- Remove employees from Employee list whose have had all their process flows archived
- Implement field limits on configuration fields so that users do not experience errors
- Add ability to download completed forms from canceled process flows
