Microsoft Teams activity feed notifications are updates or alerts in Microsoft Teams that keep admin users informed about activity or actions relevant to them. These notifications are displayed in the "Activity" tab, accessible through the bell icon in the Teams app. The feed is designed to centralize notifications to ensure users stay updated on what requires their attention without needing to manually check multiple locations. When the notification is selected, the user is taken to the Click Boarding Admin application, helping to increase timely completion of process flows.
Click Boarding offers two types of activity feed notifications for Administrative users:
- Task Assigned - This notification informs the administrator when a task within a process flow has been assigned to the administrator. No configuration is necessary for this functionality.
- Activity Assigned - This notification informs the administrator when a specific activity (form completion, document review, etc) is assigned to the admin user who is associated to the process flow.
For activity feed notifications to send to an admin they must:
- Download the Click Boarding Admin application
- Sign into the Click Boarding Admin application
- Enable notifications for the Click Boarding Admin application in their Teams settings
When the application is downloaded, activity notifications are enabled by default. Users can adjust their notification preferences for Click Boarding Admin in Teams by going to Settings -> Notifications and activity -> Scroll to the Apps section -> Click Boarding Admin.
Because the application follows a specific Microsoft approval process, the notifications are designed to remain consistent and are not customizable.
