Overview
Click Boarding offers a robust implementation of Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML 2.0) Single Sign On (SSO). This secure XML-based protocol has an abundance of benefits including:
- Users only need to remember one set of credentials which leads to an enhance user experience.
- Users’ information is more secure because your secure identity provider is the only place users are entering their credentials.
- Reduces the support effort associated with users forgetting their password.

What can I expect during the implementation?
Click Boarding will work with clients to ensure the implementation of SSO is as simple as possible. After the request is initiated with your Client Success Manager (CSM), the process will kick off.
- Click Boarding will send your technical contact our metadata and our quick SAML SSO Implementation questionnaire to complete.
- You configure your identity provider, based on Click Boarding’s metadata.
- When providing the answers to the questions please include your metadata.
- Click Boarding will configure our system, based on your metadata. Please allow up to two weeks for this configuration.
- If a value other than User API Identifier is chosen as the NameId, we will plan how to update these values for the population. We offer multiple ways to update this value in our system. For more information please see the SSO Identifier article in the Resource Center. Note that this update will need to be worked into the new user creation and user update process.
- Once configured, you can begin testing. If you prefer, Click Boarding is happy to schedule a live testing session.
