If you have a process that should no longer be used or that was created in error, it can be deleted.
Before you delete a process:
- New candidates cannot be added to the deleted process.
- Once a process has been deleted, there isn’t an option to "un-delete" it.
- Any candidate that has been assigned to the process before it was deleted will be able to complete the process. There is no impact to any of the in-flight candidates.
- There is no indication that the process has been deleted when looking at the candidate history. As an example, if Jane Doe completes the ‘New Hire – Part Time’ process and it is later deleted, the process under Jane Doe’s name will remain ‘New Hire – Part Time.’ There will be no indication the process has been deleted.
- The process will continue to show in the filter options list within the Candidate View. You retain the ability to locate any candidate that was assigned the deleted process.
- Please Note: A process flow previously referencing another process flow through adding as a process chain activity will need to have that step containing the process chain activity removed before the chained process flow can be deleted.
On the Processes tab of the Processes & Contents page, click View to open the process. Click the Action Menu (three ellipses).
Click Delete.
To delete the process, click Delete.
To keep the process, click Cancel.
