Understanding Import History

Import History

After an Import Template is uploaded, the file will automatically be validated and the results will be shown on the Import History grid to review before importing. 

Once you "Start Import" you will not be able to stop the import. 

Use the  button to remove any custom sorting or filtering added to the grid.

Use the button to refresh the grid at any time after an import has started.

Understanding the Import History Grid

Column Header	Field Description
Import Type	The type of import being performed
Action	- When an import has been validated and ready to be imported - Import Successfully Completed (Validation Errors may appear if duplicate candidates are imported) - Indicates Processing Errors (Download Import Results to view candidates that didn't import successfully and the error.) - Validation Failed (download validation results to review errors)
File Name	Name of the File Imported
Status	Import Complete- Import completed with no processing errors  Import Complete With Errors- Processing Errors occurred with your import (Rows with no errors imported successfully) Import Ready- File still validating, import not yet started. Import Started- Import in progress Validation Complete- No Validation errors, ability to Start Import Validation Complete with Errors - Validation errors found, download Validation Results to review and update template as needed.  Validation Failed- Redo import, template did not validate successfully.  Validation Ready- Status prior to validating file.  Validation Started- Validating file.
Records	How many records in the import template
Validation Errors	Count of records that failed validation - review Validation Results
Processing Errors	Count of records that failed to process - review Validation Results
Uploaded By	Name of User that uploaded file.
Date	Month, Day, Year and time (EST)
Validation Results	Review errors for any records that failed validation
Import Report	Download a copy of the Import Template.
