I-9 Section 2 & E-Verify are completed by the HR user, not a candidate. Candidates cannot view this step or forms.
Section 2 of the I-9 is available through Click Boarding and can only be completed when Section 1 (completed by your candidate) has been submitted.
The purpose of Form I-9 Section 2 is to verify the candidate's identification documents.
In this section, you will
- enter identification information about who is completing the form
- upload scanned copies of the candidate's proof of citizenship
- provide additional details, if necessary

If you use E-Verify, the E-Verify process will begin when you click Submit to E-Verify.
Completing I-9 Section 2 & E-Verify

On the Candidate List, locate the candidate you need to complete I-9 Section 2 & E-Verify for.
Click the orange exclamation point.

On the candidate's Step Progress, click the step for I-9 Section 2 & E-Verify.
Click the blue document to open the I-9 Section 2 document. This form is one long scrolling form, shown in four images.
You will be asked to create your own e-signature for the I-9 Section 2 form.


Click the blue Edit link in the grey Section 1. Employee Information and Attestation on the Employment Eligibility Verification form (I-9, Section 2) to edit this part of the form.




Fill this out as required, verifying the candidate's identification and eligibility to work in the US.

After the I-9 Section 2 form is complete, E-Verify will happen behind the scenes. When E-Verify is complete, you will see pop up with a green shield confirming E-Verify.
