The Click Boarding Employee application brings all of the wonderful features and functionality you love about our web-based application to Microsoft Teams.
Pre-Requisites
- The client must have an active Click Boarding subscription
- Click Boarding must map the client's Microsoft Entra tenant ID to a Click Boarding client
- To find your Microsoft Entra tenant ID please reference Microsoft's documentation. Note this may require assistance from your organization's IT department.
- If the client's Microsoft Entra tenant ID is not mapped, users will receive a splash page noting that the application is not configured when they attempt to access the Teams application
- Process Flows must be configured
- The employee and their Process Flows must be added to the system using the Admin platform, APIs, or SFTP Import
Installation
This installation covers installing the application via the desktop Teams application or the web-based Teams application.
- Navigate to Microsoft Teams
- Click on Apps on the left menu bar
- Select the search bar and type "Click Boarding Employee"
- Click on Click Boarding Employee
- Click on Add in the installation modal. Please note that depending on your organization's policies, you may see a Request approval button instead of Add. By selecting Request approval, the department that manages Teams for your organization should be notified to review the request for download.
- Click on Open on the success modal
- Click on Continue on the additional permission notice modal
- Click on Accept to allow for the required permissions
At this point the user will be brought back to Teams. If the application has been configured for the client, the user will be able to enter their username and password. This is the same username and password that is used for the web-based application. If the application has not been configured, the user will receive a splash page stating that the application has not been configured.
