Hawaii
HW-6 years present mapping corrected
Form Title: Employee's Statement To Employer Concerning Nonresidence In The State Of Hawaii
Form ID: HI103
Form version: 2025.01.0
Line 6 of this form indicates the number of years the employee was physically present in Hawaii during the calendar years 2021 through 2025. We have corrected an issue where the days present per year was mapping to the incorrect year on the form (the days entered for 2021 was mapping to 2022, the days present for 2022 was mapping to 2023, and so on). The days present will now accurately map to the proper year, as entered by the employee.

Louisiana
L-4 tax parameter value updated
Form Title: Employee's Withholding Certificate
Form ID: LA101
Form version: 2025.01.0
We have implemented a value change to the tax parameter LA.filingStatus
on the L-4 (LA101). The form begins with a survey question which asks the user to select 0, 1, or 2 deductions. The value returned for this tax parameter varies based on the deduction value. Previously, the values were:
- 0 deductions; value of "0" returned
- 1 deduction; value of "S" returned
- 2 deductions; value of "M" returned
As of this release, the value returned for 2 deductions for the tax parameter LA.filingStatus
will reflect "MFJ" instead of "M" (to accurately represent 'Married filing jointly or qualifying surviving spouse or head of household'). Now, the values will be:
- 0 deductions; value of "0" returned
- 1 deduction; value of "S" returned
- 2 deductions; value of "MFJ" returned
LA101 tax parameter regex and description updated.
- Previous regex: "^(0|S|M)$"
- Previous description: "0 - filed 'No deduction',S - filed ' Single or married filing separately',M - filed 'Married filing jointly or qualifying surviving spouse or head of household'"
- Updated regex: "^(0|S|MFJ)$"
- Updated description: "0 - filed 'No deduction',S - filed ' Single or married filing separately',MFJ - filed 'Married filing jointly or qualifying surviving spouse or head of household'"

IT-2104 regular expression corrected
Form Title: Employee's Withholding Allowance Certificate
Form ID: NY101
Form version: 2024.12.0
Previously we updated the validation regex for Line 1 and Line 2 on the Employee's Withholding Allowance Certificate. The regular expression has now been updated to correctly support values 0-99 in alignment with the fillable PDF provided directly by New York State. Previously, we accepted values up to 100.
- Old regular expression value: "^([1-9][0-9]{0,1}|0|100)$"
- New regular expression value: "^([1-9][0-9]{0,1}|0|99)$"
These fields are shown on the Additional Allowances survey.
Virginia
Form VA-4 perjury statement updated
Form Title: Employee's Income Tax Withholding Exemption Certificate
Form ID: VA101
Form version: 2011.2.0
In the use case of the employee being subject to Virginia withholding, the resulting perjury statement when the form VA-4 was filled out stated "I certify that I am not subject to Virginia withholding. I meet the conditions set forth in the instructions."
We have corrected the perjury statement to reflect the individual is subject to withholding. The updated perjury statement in this case is as follows: "I certify that I am subject to Virginia withholding. I meet the conditions set forth in the instructions.
Miscellaneous
Additional Withholding validation correction
We've corrected a validation issue for the additional withholding field which impacted some forms. In the case of no additional withholding elected, the validation on impacted forms allowed $0.0 to pass, while the tax parameter value accepted $0.00. This resulted in an issue being able to submit the form. The validation has been corrected to align with the tax parameter.
