Overview
The Email Builder functionality puts the client in the driver's seat when it comes to managing their emails. Now clients can create, edit, and copy all emails that are part of their email library. The email builder allows the client to use specific branding and styling to align with their branding guidelines. All emails can be added to any process flow within the client’s process flow library.
Navigation
To navigate to the email builder, utilize the left-hand navigation and navigate to ‘Processes & Content’ and then ‘Emails’. From there, you can create, copy, and edit all emails associated with your Click Boarding environment.
Reference Name
Reference name is the value used to identify the email and is a required field. It is a value that can be utilized to search for specific emails. Reference names must be unique across all emails (including Click Standard emails) and can be up to 200 characters. When you copy an email, it will append ‘Copy of’ to the front of the reference name
Subject
The subject will be what is shown in the subject line of the email when sent. This is a required field in the email and cannot be blank. It can be up to 200 characters and does not have to be unique between emails.
CC/BCC
Custom emails are allowed to have one CC and one BCC email address that can be added to a custom email.
Attachments
Attachments can be uploaded to emails and sent along with the email message. Attachments are limited to 5mb. Below is a list of supported file types:
- application/pdf
- application/excel
- application/msword
- application/powerpoint
- image/jpeg
- image/png
- image/gif
- image/bmp
- image/svg+xml
- text/plain
- text/csv
- Text/html
Editor
The editor is utilized to edit and create the body of the email. Tools like font, font size, and color allow you to send emails utilizing your company branding. For more advanced technical users, the source editor can be utilized to write CSS or HTML.
