Process Events are set up on the process and are driven by due dates within the process. To add a Process level event:
- Navigate to the Processes list
- Select the Name of the process you wish to edit
- Select the ellipses next to the process flow name
- Select Edit
- Configure the event
Send an Email
The Send an Email process event will let you send emails based on the status of the process flow.
In the process event section:
- Select Send an Email in the Are there events that should happen field
- Select who the email should go to (you can select multiple recipients. Each recipient will receive their own copy of the email)
- Select the email template (this is the email you want to send)
- Select when the email should send in the When process is... field
- Enter the After Days value
- A negative number of days is number of days before the condition is met. For example, -1 would be one day before
- 0 is the day the condition is met
- A positive number of days is the number of days after the condition is met. For example, 1 would be 1 day after
- If Activity Declined was selected in for When process is... no days are required
- Select Add
Set a Milestone
Milestones trigger a webhook notification to a client’s “listener” URL. The milestone settings have no other use or impact on the front end of the product.
In the process event section:
- Select Set a Milestone in the Are there events that should happen field
- Enter the Milestone reference name
- This the description that was added when configuring the webhook via Click Boarding's API
- Select when the milestone should send in the When process is... field
- Enter the After Days value
- A negative number of days is number of days before the condition is met. For example, -1 would be one day before
- 0 is the day the condition is met
- A positive number of days is the number of days after the condition is met. For example, 1 would be 1 day after
- If Activity Declined was selected in for When process is... no days are required
- Select Add
Process Action
Process Actions are triggers that tell Click Boarding to do something, such as export employee forms, export data, or send a text message.
- Select Process Action in the Are there events that should happen field
- Select the Action
- Select when the Process Action should occur in the When process is... field
- Enter the After Days value
- A negative number of days is number of days before the condition is met. For example, -1 would be one day before
- 0 is the day the condition is met
- A positive number of days is the number of days after the condition is met. For example, 1 would be 1 day after
- If Activity Declined was selected in for When process is... no days are required
- Select Add
