A Process flow is a set of activities (forms, tasks, emails, etc) that are grouped into steps. Process flows are assigned to employees. After being assigned, employees, or Team Members depending on the type of step, will complete the activities in the process flow. It is important to note the process flows are linear. This means that step 1 must be complete before step 2 and so on. Employees can have multiple process flows assigned to them. While multiple process flows can be assigned they must be completed in the order they were assigned.
Common examples of process flows are preboarding (pre day-1), offboarding, and promotions. A preboarding process may contain company policies and guidelines, federal tax forms, employment verification forms, etc. Each process can be configured to a client's location and/or employee types.
