An Event is an automated action that takes place based on a logical statement. For example, you can have a step level event that sends an email to a Team Member when an employee has declined the step.
Events can be set at the Process Flow level or the Step level. If the Event is set at the Process Flow level the logical statements used will be in relation to the Process Flow's status. If the Event is set at the Step level the logical statements used will be in relation to that specific step.
For both Process Flow level and Step level events there are three event types:
- Send an email
- Set a Milestone
- Milestones Click Boarding's term for webhooks. A milestone will trigger a webhook notification to a client’s “listener” URL.
- Process Action
- Process Actions are triggers that tell Click Boarding to do something, such as export employee forms, export data, or send a text message
Step Level events have one additional event type called Initiate Screening which will kick off a background screening package for an employee.
