Overview
In today's digital world, protecting your online accounts is more critical than ever. Passwords alone are no longer sufficient to safeguard against unauthorized access, as they can be easily guessed, stolen, or compromised through phishing attacks. This is where Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) comes in.
MFA adds an extra layer of security by requiring not just your password, but also an additional form of verification to confirm your identity. Even if someone obtains your password, they will still need the second form of authentication—such as a code sent to your phone or generated by an app—to access your account. This significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access and keeps your sensitive information more secure.
By using MFA, you are not just relying on something you know (your password), but also something you have (like your phone or computer). This multi-layered approach makes it much harder for attackers to breach your account, providing you with greater peace of mind in a world where online threats are ever-present.
