Securing online accounts is more important than ever, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) provides an extra layer of protection. This article will guide you through the process of signing in with MFA when the additional form of authentication is authenticator app, ensuring your information stays safe from unauthorized access.
Please note that authenticator app may not be an available factor based on the client configuration.
Signing in with Authenticator App MFA
- If this is the user's first-time logging in, they will select Authenticator from Select Multi-Factor Authentication Method
- Click Submit
- Follow the instructions on page for setting up the authenticator application
- Enter the code the application provides for Click Boarding. IMPORTANT - Do NOT share your code with anyone else
- Click Verify

If the code provide was valid, the user will be automatically logged in at this point, unless it is the user's first-time logging in. If it is the user's first-time logging in, they will be provided with recovery codes, which should be stored in a safe place incase the user loses access to the authenticator app. If the code was invalid the user will receive an error.
