Securing online accounts is more important than ever, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) provides an extra layer of protection. This article will guide you through the process of signing in with MFA when the additional form of authentication is email, ensuring your information stays safe from unauthorized access.
Please note that email may not be an available factor based on the client configuration.
Signing in with Email MFA
- If this is the user's first-time logging in they will select email from Select Multi-Factor Authentication Method
- Select Submit
- The verification code will be sent to the email that was used at account creation
- Enter the code in Code. IMPORTANT - Do NOT share your code with anyone else
- Click Verify once the code has been entered
If the code provide was valid, the user will be automatically logged in at this point. If the code was invalid the user will receive an error.
